Two Mirrors in the Sky

First published in Lua, first edition

The shadow they cast hid the both of us,Yet is I you call dark,The sun kisses us both,Yet you cast away my embrace

There is freedom in this lonely,But not fulfillment,The sun does not know life without the moon,Yet you would have me believe I am not fit for your galaxy

Far apart, I stare, you stareBut do you see me?Hidden in evanescenceAre we simply mirrors unable to look upon ourselves?

Will you seek these answers with me,Would you join hand in hand that we may rise? Then take off with me,Two mirrors in the sky
